Reviewing the week

After an eventful week, the time has come to review the things that went well/could have been better and plan for the next.

z-scale

I was thinking of making the z-scale out of 26, but then I wouldn't know where to draw the line between good, medium and bad. This week is a 7/10. I realise that when I start something, I can't seem to put it down unless an external factor forces me to do so. That has a painstaking amount of repercussion so I need to start setting myself Pomodoro timers again. Hmmm, maybe I should use the pomodoro Emacs package for this. That's the main reason why I didn't give it a higher score, that, and also the fact that there's been some health neglections this week (cough cough). One thing I've been enjoying is reading more blogs from people who published their website through Emacs, seems as though I've found a community.

Next week

The main focus over the next few weeks إن شاء اللّه is getting these books studied; at the moment, I'm reading Clean Code, and trying to absorb all the coding principles. The purpose of these, alongside practical applications of what is learnt is to ensure a strong footing is established in this technical craft. Got a long long long way to go…
