# Audio Direction and Provenance

Ten state names are Morning, Palace, Garden, Marketplace, Festival, Romantic, Sad, Night, Victory, and Ending. Seven ambience groups are birds, water, wind, crowd, garden insects, library room tone, and rain. SFX cover UI, footsteps, page turns, pickups, archery, cooking, puzzle feedback, and dance steps.

Runtime derivatives use WebM/Opus first with MP3 fallback. `assets.json` records each original same-site source and licence statement. Howler is the only playback layer; Phaser audio remains disabled.
